Go head to head against a live dealer to reach 21 in Live Blackjack!
Up to seven players can play Live Blackjack at any one time, with a live dealer hosting all of our Live Blackjack tables.
Eight regular 52-card decks are in play during this game, with the card values as shown below:
Once the betting period has ended, each player will be dealt one card face up.
Blackjack
Your hand being equal to 21 exactly will award Blackjack, which pays out 1.5x your initial bet.
Insurance
If the card dealt face up to the dealer is an Ace, you will have the opportunity to buy insurance, which costs half your stake and offers some protection against the possibility of the dealer having Blackjack.
You will be refunded your entire bet if the dealer gets Blackjack.
However, if he doesn't get Blackjack your insurance will be lost and the hand proceeds as normal.
Double Down, Hit or Stand
As the dealer moves clockwise around the table, you will be given a chance to improve your initial hand in turn by choosing to Double Down, Hit or Stand.
Split
If your initial hand is a pair of cards of the same value, you can choose to 'Split' the pair to form two new separate hands - you will need to place another stake of equal value to cover the new hand if you choose to do this.
Once the second card has been dealt to both your hands, you can 'Hit' for a chance to improve the value.
If you choose to split two Aces, you will not be able to 'Hit' on the hands.
Side Bets
Live Blackjack includes optional side bets such as Perfect Pairs and 21+3, exactly as you would find in Casino Blackjack.
Perfect Pairs
This gives you the opportunity to win if your first two cards are a pair.
Three different types of pairs are available with a different payout being offered by each one.
Hand | Description |
---|---|
Perfect Pair | Same suit |
Coloured Pair | Different suits of the same colour |
Mixed Pair | Same suits |
21+3
The 21+3 bet gives you the chance to win if your first two cards plus the dealer’s upcard form any of the following winning combinations:
Hand | Description |
---|---|
Suited Trips | An identical triplet (e.g) 3 Queens of Hearts |
Straight Flush | In numerical sequence and the same suit |
Three of a Kind | Same value but different suits |
Straight | In numerical sequence but different suits |
Flush | Same suit |
Bet Behind
With the Bet Behind feature, you can place wagers on another player's hand.
You will share the same outcome as the other player, and receive payouts for the wager in the same way as the standard bets.
Hot Player
See which of the other players is on a winning streak via the 'Hot Player' icon.
The number indicated within the gold medals corresponds to the amount of consecutive wins the player has landed.
Once they've lost a hand, the 'hot player' surrenders their status.
