Free Bet Blackjack

Free Bet Blackjack

Enjoy Blackjack with a twist in Free Bet Blackjack, featuring four exciting side bet options!

    Free Bet Blackjack Game Overview

Free Bet Blackjack is a variation of the classic Blackjack game offering free 'Double Down' and 'Split' bets!

The aim of the game is to have a higher value hand than the dealer, without going over 21.

An unlimited number of players may join each round but you only play against the dealer.

    Card Values

Eight standard 52-card decks are used in this game.

The values of each card is as follows:

    • 2-10 - worth face value.
    • Face cards - each worth ten.
    • Aces - worth either one or 11, depending on which is more beneficial to your hand.

At the end of the betting time, one card is dealt face-up to each player and the dealer.

A second card is then dealt face-up to each player.

The dealer's second card is dealt face-down.

    Blackjack

Blackjack is achieved when the sum of your first two cards equal exactly 21.

You can only form Blackjack with your first two cards.

Achieving a hand of 21 from a split pair does not equal Blackjack.

    Blackjack beats all other hands.

    Insurance

If the dealer's upcard is an Ace, there is a chance that they may have Blackjack.

To offset that risk, you can choose to buy insurance - this is possible even if you have Blackjack.

Insurance costs one half of your main bet.

The main bet and the Insurance bet are settled separately.

If the dealer does not have Blackjack, the round will continue as normal.

However, if they do and you do not, then the dealer wins and the game finishes.

If both you and the dealer have Blackjack, your bet is returned and the game ends in a push.

    Double Down and Free Double

If the dealer does not have Blackjack, you can choose to Double Down, Hit or Stand.

Double Down applies if your initial hand does not equal 21.

Choosing to Double Down will add one extra card to your hand and double the value of your bet.

You will get a 'Free Double' if your hand equals nine, ten or 11.

Choosing to use the 'Free Double' will add a 'Free Bet' to your original bet, which will match the original bet if you win the round.

If you lose the round, you will only lose your original bet.

If the game ends in a tie, your original bet will be the only one returned.

    Hit

To receive another card to your hand, you can choose to Hit.

This can be done more than once until you are satisfied with the value of your hand.

    Stand

Choosing to Stand signals that you are satisfied with the value of your hand and no further cards are added.

    Split and Free Split

If your first two cards are equal in value, you can choose to Split the hand to make two separate hands.

Each hand will have a separate bet.

Unless your hand is a pair of ten's, you will also be offered a 'Free Split'.

The first hand will hold the original bet, while the second hand will hold the 'Free Bet'.

The value of the 'Free Bet' will be matched to the original bet value if you win the round - no bet will be returned for the second hand.

You will not lose your bet if you lose the second hand.

If the game ends in a tie, no bet will be returned.

    Outcome

You lose the round if your hand exceeds 21.

The dealer will reveal their downcard once all players have taken their turn.

If the dealer has a hand of 16 or less, they have to Hit.

If they have a hand of soft 17 or more, they have to Stand.

The game ends in a push if the dealer's hand is equal to yours - your bet is returned when this happens.

    Six Card Charlie Rule

According to the Six Card Charlie rule, you automatically win if your hand is formed of six cards with a total value of 21 or less - even if the dealer has Blackjack.

Each hand is evaluated individually if you have a Split hand.

The Six Card Charlie rule is not applicable if the dealer has Blackjack after Insurance was offered.

    Side Bets

There are four optional side bets available in this game: Any Pair, 21+3, Hot 3 and Bust It.

Side bets can be placed alongside your main Blackjack bet.

It is possible to win on any side bet even if you lost your Blackjack bet.
